Itineraries
Day 1
Maun
Arrive at Maun Airport (airport transfer included) and settle in for a briefing on the days ahead with your guide. Maun is Botswana's gateway to the north and the Okavango Delta, set along the Thamalakane River. Overnight at Oceans Bavarian Boutique Apartments (self-catering, 3x double room). Meals: Lunch, Dinner, drinking water.
Day 2
Moremi Game Reserve
Head into Moremi Game Reserve, widely considered the best of the Okavango Delta's wildlife-viewing areas — hippos and crocodiles in the channels, elephants and big cats on dry land, with a real chance at the Big Five. Overnight at Khwai Moremi Vacation Cottages, just outside the reserve (self-catering, 3x double room). Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Day 3
Okavango Delta
A full day exploring the Delta itself, where rising and falling floodwaters create a shifting world of islands. Expect crocodiles, hippos, giraffes, zebras, elephants and buffalo, with lions, cheetahs and leopards also frequently spotted. Return to Oceans Bavarian Boutique Apartments (self-catering, 3x double room). Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Day 4
Chobe River
Travel to the Chobe River, the international border between Botswana and Namibia and one of the region's best birding spots. Hippos and crocodiles are a constant presence, and the riverbank draws elephants and other game down to drink. Overnight at Nkanga Hotel (3x double room). Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Day 5
Chobe National Park
A day inside Chobe National Park, taking in both Savuti (known for lions and leopards) and the Chobe Riverfront, home to some of southern Africa's largest elephant herds. Return to Nkanga Hotel (3x double room). Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Day 6
Victoria Falls
Cross into Zimbabwe to experience Victoria Falls — Mosi-oa-Tunya, "the smoke that thunders" — one of the most dramatic natural sights in Africa. Overnight at Nkanga Hotel. Meals: Breakfast.
Day 7
Kasane Airport
Depart from Kasane Airport (airport transfer included), bringing the safari to a close. Meals: Breakfast.
